Job summary

Acuren is recruiting for temporary NDT/RT Assistants for our Duluth, MN location. This on-site, casual part-time role involves assisting with calibrations, nondestructive tests, and evaluations to determine acceptance or rejection according to written instructions and documented results.

You will set up and use NDT equipment, assist Radiographers with calibration and testing, record results, and perform related operational tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Some college preferred
• Technical background desired
• Background check for credentials and regulations compliance
• Driving record meets company standards to drive company vehicles

Responsibilities

• Assist in calibrations, nondestructive tests, and evaluations for acceptance or rejection determinations according to written instructions and record results
• Set up and utilize nondestructive test equipment
• Assist Radiographers in the calibration of NDT equipment
• Assist Radiographers to conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities using NDT methods of inspection
• Record results of inspections
• Assist performing NDT procedures, carry equipment and perform other related operations
• Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management
