Job summary

International Inspection, Inc. in Los Angeles, CA seeks an NDT Assistant/Trainee to join a team performing UT, MT, PT, VT, and Radiographic testing for diverse clients. Requires formal NDT education and the ability to travel occasionally. Must have a valid driver's license and be legally allowed to work in the United States.

The role offers an hourly, non-exempt status with long-term, full-time potential. Marine vessel NDT experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or college certification required.
• Documented NDT classroom training required.
• Valid driver’s license and legal authorization to work in the United States.
• TWIC and/or DBIDS credentials or ability to obtain them.
• Experience with both Magnetic Particle and Ultrasonic inspection methods preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform non-destructive testing and examination at client sites
• Manage equipment and materials for inspections
• Compile client reports including drawings using CAD and word processors
• Identify indications and probable causes with clients
• General shop-assistant duties to keep the NDT shop in working order
