Job summary

Siemens Energy, Inc. seeks an ASNT Level III NDT/NDE Manager for our Gibsonton facility, focusing on inspection of safety-critical hardware across casting, machining, and final inspection.

You will develop NDI procedures, ensure compliance with ISO 9001, and lead the NDI team through certifications and training. You will oversee equipment qualification, advanced NDI methods, and a cross-functional effort to harmonize practices across Siemens Energy, driving continuous improvement in inspection

Qualifications

• ASNT Level III Certification in Radiographic Testing (RT), Penetrant Testing (PT), and Ultrasonic Testing (UT) is required.
• Typically 8+ years as a Level III NDI/NDE professional in a manufacturing environment, preferably aerospace or power generation.
• Experience managing personnel certification programs in line with ASNT SNT-TC-1A and/or NAS 410.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical authority for RT, PT, UT, and advanced NDI methods, establishing and governing NDI procedures and acceptance criteria under ISO 9001.
• Provide definitive technical dispositions for non-conforming materials and complex inspection interpretations to ensure product integrity.
• Lead qualification and validation of NDI equipment, incl. digital radiography systems and related software.
• Oversee competency management and certification of all NDI personnel per ASNT and NAS 410/EN 4179 standards; manage examinations and training records.
• Provide technical mentorship and training to NDI inspectors to ensure consistent application of techniques and standards.
• Collaborate across Siemens Energy to harmonize NDI requirements, support NPI projects, and drive continuous improvement for product integrity.
