Job summary

Siemens Energy, Inc. is seeking an NDT ASNT Level III expert to serve as the site technical authority for radiographic testing and other NDT methods. You will govern qualification programs, interpret indications, and drive continuous improvement while mentoring junior staff.

This role emphasizes safety, compliance, and reliability in high-integrity turbine blade and vane inspections. You will collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Operations to reduce defects, support audits, and advance

Qualifications

• Current ASNT Level III certification in at least one method; RT preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of experience training, examining, qualifying, and certifying NDT personnel.
• Experience administering employer-based NDT qualification programs.
• ASNT Level III RT with Radiation Safety training for industrial radiography work.
• IRRSP certification preferred; eligible to obtain/maintain per site and regulatory requirements.
• Level III in VT and PT; practical UTT experience.
• Strong technical writing and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Authorized to work in the United States without current sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Level III for assigned NDT methods; govern procedures and qualifications.
• Develop, review, approve, and maintain NDT procedures and qualification materials.
• Interpret indications and support acceptance decisions per specs and customer requirements.
• Administer site NDT personnel certification program and record-keeping.
• Mentor Level I/II personnel and drive structured training.
• Support audits, qualification, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Metallurgy, Operations, and EHS to reduce scrap and nonconformance.
• Support new NDT technology, automation, and digital inspection harmonization.
