Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking an experienced NDT Level III to serve as the site technical authority for RT/VT/PT/UTT methods. You will own governance, qualification, and continuous improvement of NDT practices for high-integrity turbine components.

The role requires 7+ years of NDT personnel certification experience, ASNT Level III in RT, and strong collaboration across Quality, Engineering, and Operations. US work authorization is required, with potential internal transfer options for visa

Qualifications

• Current ASNT Level III certification in RT is required; additional VT/PT/UT qualifications preferred.
• Minimum 7 years’ experience training, examining, qualifying, and certifying NDT personnel.
• Experience administering an employer-based qualification and certification program.
• Strong technical writing, communication, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Level III for assigned NDT methods, prioritizing RT, VT, PT, and UTT.
• Develop, review, approve, and maintain NDT procedures, exams, and qualifications.
• Interpret indications and support acceptance decisions per specs and customer requirements.
• Administer and document the site NDT certification program, including exams and records.
• Mentor Level I/II personnel and transfer knowledge through training.
• Support audits, equipment qualification, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Metallurgy, Operations, and EHS to reduce defects.
• Support new NDT technology and harmonization of practices across Siemens Energy.
