Job summary

Siemens Energy in Gibsonton, Florida is seeking an NDT-focused technician to lead inspection and repair processes for investment castings. You will cross-train in all internal NDT methods and support production with audits and rework as needed.

The role emphasizes export-controlled technology, compliance with U.S. regulations, and collaboration with the Gas Services team to decarbonize and modernize energy equipment.

Qualifications

• A high school Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in at least one NDT discipline (X-ray, FPI, Visual Inspection) is preferred.
• General knowledge of other NDT disciplines and investment casting experience is a plus.
• Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States.
• Export license is required per U.S. export control laws.

Responsibilities

• Process and inspect investment castings to customer specifications.
• Cross-train in all NDT methods used internally (VT, PT, RT-digital, UTT).
• May perform rework as needed.
• Train other employees in NDT techniques when qualified.
• Perform audits (internal and source).
• Interface with production to provide necessary NDT support levels.
