Qualifikationen

• ABET-accredited BS in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology.
• 5–10 years NBIS-level bridge inspection experience with NCDOT background.
• NHI-130055 certification (NBIS Safety Inspection).
• NHI-130053 certification if 130055 is older than 5 years.
• WIGINS experience.
• Valid US driver’s license and experience operating bucket trucks/manlifts/IBI vehicles.
• Ability to work safely at heights, over water, in traffic environments.
• Willingness to travel/perform field work across North Carolina.

Aufgaben

• Lead and coordinate bridge inspection teams for routine, in-depth, and special inspections.
• Inspect bridges to identify deterioration, deficiencies, and safety concerns.
• Document findings, prepare reports, and maintain field records.
• Ensure NBIS, FHWA regulations, and NCDOT procedures compliance.
• Identify maintenance and repair needs.
• Promote safe practices, QA, and efficient field operations.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
