Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in bridge inspections with a minimum of 1 year as a qualified NBIS Team Leader.
• NBIS Bridge Inspection Course and NHI Safety Inspection of In-Service Bridges course required.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth safety inspections as Team Leader of a 2 person bridge inspection team.
• Prepare reports detailing conditions found during inspections for evaluation.
• Train new inspectors and plan team's activities in accordance with bridge priorities.

Field inspections experience

Advanced writing and communication skills

Strong knowledge of NBIS

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

EIT or P.E. license (preferred)
