Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent and related experience.
• Extensive knowledge of Navy ship compartmentation and lay-out.
• Knowledge of Navy Structural, Mechanical, Piping, and Electrical systems.
• Ability to read, understand and validate Work Notification.

Responsibilities

• Conduct ship checks to verify work notification scope.
• Examine equipment, piping, and ship’s structure.
• Produce ship check reports with sketches and photographs.
• Support development of work items/specifications and cost estimates.
• Identify interferences affecting planning.
