LMR Technical Group is seeking a Ship Checker to conduct ship checks on Navy vessels in Norfolk, VA. Responsibilities include validating Work Notifications, identifying scope, and providing detailed information to planners for work item development.

The role requires Navy knowledge, the ability to document checks with photos, and strong communication skills. Travel and security clearance considerations apply; site is on US Navy vessels.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least two years of education in a technical/vocational field.
• Ability to climb ladders and work on Navy vessels.
• Valid driver's license and US citizenship.
• Eligible for Secret clearance; security investigations may apply.

Responsibilities

• Conduct ship checks onboard Navy vessels to validate the work notification and determine repair scope.
• Identify interferences and other factors impacting planning and work item development.
• Document ship checks with details and photographs on approved forms for use in item development.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
