Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct ship checks aboard Navy vessels to validate work notifications and determine repair scope.
• Identify interferences and special circumstances affecting planning and item development.
• Document ship checks with detailed information and photos on approved forms for work item development.
• Provide detailed cost estimates at paragraph and trade levels for developed work specifications.
• Must read and interpret NAVSEA standards, ship drawings, and NAVSEA Standard Items as part of planning.
