Job summary

High Side Technology is seeking a Unified Communications Engineer to design, deploy, and support Navy collaboration systems, ensuring secure, reliable voice, video, and conferencing capabilities across mission-critical environments.

The role requires deep CUCM, VoIP, SIP, CMS, Jabber, Webex, and Teams expertise, plus security clearance. You will implement and troubleshoot voice/video endpoints, and advise on best practices for DoD networks.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience engineering, administering, and troubleshooting Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) in an enterprise environment.
• 5+ years of experience implementing, configuring, and supporting VoIP or IP telephony solutions, including SIP, SCCP, dial plans, and voice gateways.
• 3+ years of experience deploying and administering Cisco collaboration applications, including Cisco Jabber, Webex, Microsoft Teams, or Cisco IM & Presence.
• 3+ years of experience configuring, deploying, and supporting Cisco voice and video endpoints, including IP phones and Video Teleconferencing (VTC) systems.
• Experience administering Cisco Meeting Server (CMS) or other enterprise conferencing platforms.
• Experience troubleshooting voice, video, and collaboration issues using SIP, RTP, QoS, and call trace analysis.
• Active TS/SCI clearance required
• High School diploma or GED.
• Current DoD 8140 compliant cybersecurity certification (such as CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and sustain Cisco voice, video, and conferencing solutions.
• Configure, integrate, and troubleshoot Cisco voice, video, and conferencing systems within enterprise networks.
• Ensure secure, reliable, and highly available collaboration services across mission-critical environments.
• Support Navy and DoD collaboration environments and modernization initiatives.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor on Cisco collaboration technologies and DoD network deployments.
