Job summary

Serco Inc. in Washington, DC, is seeking a Navy Financial Associate to join Team Submarine. You will perform budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis, maintain financial databases, and prepare reports to keep funding priorities aligned with program needs.

You must be able to obtain an active DoD Secret clearance, be a US citizen, and have at least 8 years of relevant experience with MS Office tools. Occasional travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or related field is desired.
• 8 years of experience.
• Knowledge of the Navy’s Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution processes and policies.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily support to Financial Management team.
• Perform budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis.
• Maintain financial databases and generate reports.
• Develop estimates and burn rate dashboards.
• Coordinate with Branch Head and field activities to establish funding priorities.
