Job summary

Serco is seeking a Navy Financial Associate in the Washington, DC area to support the Team Submarine financial management function. You will perform budgeting, forecasting, data gathering, and analysis to help ensure efficient contract execution and cost control.

The role emphasizes developing cost databases, estimating completion costs, and generating financial reports for senior leadership, including briefings at high-level audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or related field is desired.
• 8 years of experience; DoD/ Navy budgeting knowledge is advantageous.
• Experience with Navy Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution processes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily support to Financial Management team and conduct budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
• Create, maintain, and update financial databases and generate reports.
• Develop estimates, cost metrics, burn rate dashboards, and PMR slides.
• Coordinate with field activities to establish funding priorities and reimburseable funds.
• Prepare briefs for audiences up to Flag level and manage IPT meetings.
