Job summary

Noblis is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support Naval ship programs focusing on oil pollution abatement in wastewater systems, and related mechanical equipment for Navy, Coast Guard, Army and allied vessels.

You will design, evaluate, plan, test and operate mechanical systems, create drawings, write calculations, and test prototypes while re-engineering products as needed and documenting results for leadership. This on-call role involves PT hours and security clearances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering or Electrical Engineering with 5 years of design, repair, installation, modification, operation, maintenance and testing experience.
• US citizen with DoD SECRET clearance or ability to obtain one.
• Experience with 2D/3D design and manufacturing tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor).
• Experience reviewing models and drawings for manufacturability and BOM documentation.
• Familiarity with military specifications for technical design.
