Job summary

Five Rivers Analytics (FRA), an Akima company, seeks a Material Coordinator to provide user support for OM&S and GE programs at NSWC PCD, focusing on inventory, QA, research, documentation, reporting and analysis using the NERP system and Navy 2016 Microsoft Office tools.

You will communicate with scientists, engineers, logisticians, accountants, supply chain personnel, and DLA staff to ensure accurate data and operational readiness.

Qualifications

• HS degree and 1-2 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Navy standard version 2016.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in writing and orally.
• Experience preparing reports, presentations, and documentation for management review.
• Familiarity with Navy OM&S processes, training development, and user support.
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and support process improvement.
• Experience performing QA functions related to Procurement Requests and supporting documentation.
• Knowledge of Navy records management requirements.

Responsibilities

• Extrapolate data from NERP to create reports with high accuracy.
• Prepare presentations and spreadsheets to convey OM&S status monthly.
• Monitor abnormal or trending conditions within OM&S for process improvement.
• Support development, refinement, and localization of NSWC PCD OM&S training.
• Prepare OM&S training materials and conduct training for NSWC PCD missions.
• Provide OM&S user support for scientists, engineers, logisticians, accountants, and DLA personnel.
• Perform QA functions to support PR creation and KSDs.
• Research and identify frustrated material and determine ownership and accounting lines.
• Archive official records per SECNAV guidance using Navy records system.
• Create Unique Material Masters and extensions; prepare requirement forms with customer data.
