Job summary

RTX is seeking a Program Manager to join the Navy EO/IR Product Area within the APS unit. The role involves overseeing daily program execution, leading customer meetings, and coordinating with leads to meet contractual requirements.

Travel is expected to be around 10% and a DoD security clearance is required. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree (or advanced degree) with 8+ years in program management, leadership on production programs, and experience with EVMS/IMP/IMS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree; 8+ years in program management.
• Leadership experience on production programs with factory personnel or external suppliers.
• Experience with EVMS, IMP/IMS, or similar processes.
• Experience in Risk and Opportunity management and balancing cost/schedule.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily program execution cadence and governance boards.
• Lead weekly customer meetings and align deliverables.
• Collaborate with program team leads to fulfill contractual requirements.
• Track progress and implement corrective actions per program goals.
• Develop and manage Program Management Plans and Directives.
• Define and monitor program metrics with PMO and functional leads.
• Prepare for program reviews and onsite visits.
• Support domestic travel (~10%).
• Manage overall proposal efforts including BOE development and submission.
