Job summary

Raytheon is seeking a Program Manager to lead Navy EO/IR production programs within the APS Strategic Business Unit. The role oversees multiple small-to-medium production programs for USMC, covering all lifecycle phases from proposal development to production execution.

This onsite position is located in McKinney, TX and requires a DoD Secret clearance, strong PM experience, and collaboration with Navy customers and internal teams to meet contractual requirements and deliver mission-ready

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
Advanced degree in a related field with 5+ years of experience preferred.
Background in program management or related areas.
Leadership experience (e.g., IPTL) on production programs with factory personnel or external material suppliers.
Experience with EVMS, IMP/IMS, or similar processes.
Experience in Risk and Opportunity management.
Experience balancing technical, cost, and schedule constraints.
Experience supporting Proposal Development including cost estimating and BOE creation.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily program execution cadence and governance boards.
Lead weekly customer meetings to align deliverables and priorities.
Collaborate with program leads to meet contractual requirements within budget and schedule.
Track progress and implement corrective actions.
Develop and manage Program Management Plans and Directives.
Define and monitor key program metrics; drive corrective actions.
Prepare for program management reviews and customer visits.
Apply disciplined PM practices to ensure successful execution.
Support domestic travel (~10%).
Manage proposal efforts, including BOE validation and submissions.
