Job summary

Venture Dynamics is seeking skilled Pipe Welders to join our NAVSEA welding team at the Vigor Shipyard in Portland, Oregon.

Pay is $33.00 per hour with a $150 per diem for days worked by qualified travelers; candidates must be US citizens with Maritime OSHA 10 certification and able to pass NAVSEA tests. The position entails 40–60 hours per week with 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts and potential overtime, starting ASAP for a long-term assignment.

Qualifications

• Marine OSHA 10 training is mandatory.
• U.S. citizenship with proof (Enhanced Driver License/ID or Real ID along with Birth Certificate or U.S Passport).
• Maritime OSHA 10 certification.
• Previous shipyard experience required.
• 40-60 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble pipe structures in shipyard environments.
• Read weld symbols, blueprints, schematics, and specs.
• Ensure welding tasks meet quality standards and inspections.
• Collaborate with team to meet project deadlines.
• Inspect completed welds for structural integrity and safety.
