Venture Dynamics is actively seeking LOCAL Shipyard Pipe Fitters.

Join us in supporting the Vigor Shipyard in Seattle WA, with your experience and expertise!

This role requires proactive and detail-oriented professionals to engage in Pipe Fitting/Welding tasks, ensuring excellence in every aspect of the job.

Contract Duration: Starts in November and goes 6-12+ months.

Compensation: $30.00-$34.00/hr DOE.

Key Requirements:

• An updated resume. It will be sent to the client for approval.

Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen with proof (Original or Certified Birth Certificate with Enhanced Driver License, Real ID or U.S Passport).

Certifications- Maritime OSHA 10 certification required.

Experience- Previous shipyard experience required.

Working Hours- 40-60 hours per week.

Scheduling:

Diverse shifts include 8-hour, 10-hour, and 12-hour shifts.

Monday through Friday with overtime, and weekends as requested by the client.

Job Description:

Venture Dynamics is seeking experienced Pipe Fitters to join our team within the marine industry. The successful candidates will be responsible for performing pipe fitting tasks according to NAVSEA standards, including torch cutting, pipe cleaning, pipe fitting in complex positions with minimal clearance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Torch cut, clean, and true pipes for optimal fit and function according to NAVSEA standards.
• Assess job sites, particularly those with combustible materials, ensuring safety for all personnel engaged in hot work activities.
• Strong ability to work from blueprints, schematics, and specifications according to NAVSEA standards.
• Perform basic pipe fitting.
• Experience with x-ray testing of welds to ensure structural integrity.

Additional Skills (Preferred):

• Brazing experience is a plus.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Participate in system upgrades and routine maintenance.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in all work areas.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned.
