Job summary

BB&E Consulting Engineers and Professionals is seeking a Federal Design and Construction Project Manager in Norfolk, VA to oversee MILCON and facility maintenance projects for NAVFAC, from planning to post-occupancy. You will manage scope, budget, and schedule, ensuring DoD compliance and strong client communication.

This role requires a PM with 10+ years of federal project experience, PMP or PE preferred, and the ability to obtain required security clearances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction management or related field.
• PM experience with federal projects, NAVFAC preferred.
• PMP certification or PE license strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design, procurement phases for Navy facilities projects.
• Oversee scope, budget, and schedule from design through occupancy.
• Administer contracts, review RFIs and submittals, negotiate changes.
• Review A/E submittals for NAVFAC/DoD compliance and standards.
• Coordinate with NAVFAC design teams and construction managers.
• Develop budgets and track costs; monitor contractor progress payments.
