Job summary

BB&E, a civil and environmental engineering firm, seeks a Senior Civil Engineer to support NAVFAC Atlantic in Norfolk, VA. The role requires US citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a NACI/CAC, plus a PE in Civil Engineering.

You will lead planning, design, construction, and maintenance of Navy facilities, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure compliance with DoD specs. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience: A minimum of 10 years of professional civil engineering code compliant facilities design experience for new construction, including renovation design experience.
• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited college or university, supplemented by substantial hands-on design experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent, timely, and professional civil engineering support for planning, design, construction, and maintenance of Navy facilities.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and other disciplines to ensure system coordination and project requirements.
