Job summary

Noblis is seeking a Software Engineer to support the development, maintenance, and delivery of Machinery Control System (MCS) Training software for Navy DDG-51 ships. The role interfaces with Navy personnel, contractors, and engineers, and requires active DoD Secret clearance and US citizenship.

The candidate will contribute to all software life cycle phases, including requirements, development, documentation, testing, deployment, and support, with on-site responsibilities in Philadelphia, PA.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s level degree in an Engineering Discipline.
Active DoD Secret clearance.
US citizenship is required.
Must have a valid US passport or ability to obtain one upon position acceptance.
Ability to travel 10%

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain knowledge of DDG-51 Machinery Control System Training software.
Design, develop, test, install, and maintain MCS Training software and support software products.
Work with MATLAB, Simulink, Simulink Coder, Visual Studio, and Git.
Identify and document software and system problems.
Resolve software problems through debugging, investigation, and research.
Provide distance and onsite support for software problems.
Prepare and maintain software requirements and documentation.
Write, review, and maintain training materials and product specifications.
