Job summary

Noblis MSD is seeking a Controls Systems Software Engineer to support a U.S. Navy program. You will join an in-service engineering and software development team that operates in an Agile-based release and deployment environment, developing a Machinery Control System software suite and network for a U.S.

Navy warship. The role is based at the Philadelphia Naval Yard in Philadelphia, PA with a Hybrid Work environment (50/50).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field.
• 3+ years of software development experience in C/C++ and/or C#.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/hold a Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Grow to become SME in marine Machinery Control Systems interfacing with propulsion and electrical systems.
• Perform software updates, design reviews, testing, deployment, and configuration management per SEP.
• Provide engineering, integration, and testing support including technical analysis and tool development.
• Review technical documentation submissions and provide recommendations for optimization.
• Provide advice on problem definition, requirements updates, and complex system implementations.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation plans for cost, schedule, and technical issues.
