Job summary

Decision Technologies, Inc. in Washington, DC is seeking a Mid-Level Software Engineer (SEG2) to support a large Naval Sea Systems Command contract, working with a 200-person team at the Navy Yard with possible telework as relationships evolve.

Responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining software, updating capabilities, and collaborating with project management, logistics, security, and other disciplines to integrate systems. A Secret Clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as engineering or mathematics (e.g. Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Systems)
• 3 Years experience working with software engineering.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.
• Update or enhance existing software capabilities.
• Work with other functional disciplines (e.g., project management, acquisition, logistics, security, etc.) to integrate hardware and software systems, develop specifications, and performance requirements.
• Maintain databases within an application area.
