Job summary

E-Logic, Inc. is seeking a Program/Project Manager to lead technical support for the Technical Director's department of a U.S. Navy major surface combatant shipbuilding program office, including Integrated Power and Energy Systems.

This role directs a team of engineers, logisticians, cost estimators, Earned Value Management analysts and configuration management specialists. The Manager plans and manages technical tasking, integrates work across disciplines and ensures technical deliverables meet

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, management or a technical field
• More than 10 years of relevant professional experience
• Supervisory experience leading technical or analytical teams
• Experience communicating with SES and Flag-level personnel
• Proven ability to manage CPFF / level-of-effort service contracts efficiently and cost-effectively
• Strong technical writing, analytical and presentation skills

Responsibilities

• Plan, assign and oversee technical tasking for the Technical Director's department
• Manage staffing, labor hours, schedules and deliverables for the technical support team
• Serve as the main interface with the Government Technical Director and department leads
• Oversee Hull, Mechanical & Electrical (HM&E) and Combat Systems ILS reviews, ILS checklist evaluations, and technical assessments of proposed change requests
• Oversee technical publication requirements definition, readiness analysis and shipboard library outfitting
• Oversee Earned Value Management, Integrated Master Schedule analysis, schedule risk assessments, cost estimating and should-cost analysis
• Ensure analyses are consistent, documented and defensible for senior leadership review
• Oversee Configuration Control Board coordination and Configuration Steering Board briefing inputs
• Review technical products for accuracy and quality before delivery
• Report status, risks and issues to the contract Program Manager and Government leadership
