Job summary

Serco Inc. seeks a Program Manager Representative to coordinate the pre-planning and execution of NAVSEA ship modernization efforts.

You will integrate alteration packages, repair work, design requirements, and ILS, working with shipyards, government sponsors, and Navy codes to ensure technical accuracy and on-time delivery. The role requires an active DoD Secret clearance, a bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience, and on-site work at naval facilities with up to 10% travel.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of directly relevant work experience OR equivalent combination of education/experience.
• Ability to travel up to 10% (CONUS) and work on site at a Naval Base or private shipyard.
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate pre-planning and execution of NAVSEA ship modernization.
• Integrate alteration work packages, repair work, design requirements, and ILS.
• Collaborate with Regional Maintenance Centers, shipyards, and Navy sponsors to ensure technical accuracy of ship alteration data.
• Review and approve design changes, growth work, and CFRs affecting cost and schedule.
• Lead testing coordination with shipyards and sponsoring commands.
• Contribute to Lessons Learned and post-installation reviews.
