Job summary

Raytheon Technologies seeks a Section Leader in the Naval Systems Department within the System Integration and Test discipline. This onsite role can be based in Tewksbury, Marlborough, or Woburn, MA, with occasional travel.

You will lead a team of engineers, set goals, mentor staff, and drive staffing and program execution to support SPY6 radar, ship and undersea systems. The position requires a STEM degree, 8+ years of relevant experience, and a current Secret security clearance.

  • Work as a technical lead or individual contributor; Section Leader duties account for approximately 10% of the employee’s time.

Raytheon is seeking a Section Leader in the Naval Systems Department within the System Integration and Test (SI&T) discipline. The NS Department supports multiple contracts for SPY6 Radar, Ship, and Undersea Systems. As a Section Leader, the candidate will be expected to actively participate in NS leadership team goals and initiatives, support department hiring and program staffing, provide employee feedback and mentoring, and be actively involved in daily program operations.   • Experience in system, software, integration, and/or test.
Qualifications We Prefer

  • Past experience with team leadership.
  • Experience with the Earned Value Management System (EVMS) or similar budget tracking system.
  • Experience with Raytheon’s Proposal Capture Process (development of Basis of Estimates, etc).
  • Experience with the Estimate at Complete (EAC) process.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
