Job summary

Raytheon is seeking a Combat Systems Engineer II to join our Surface Radar team in San Diego, CA. You will apply your experience in system installation, activation, stage testing, and advanced troubleshooting on naval radar systems currently employed by the US Navy.

This onsite role requires US citizenship and an active security clearance; travel up to 30% including at-sea periods aboard US Navy ships is possible. Benefits and competitive salary are provided.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with combat system operation, radar installation, integration or troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical member of the Shipboard Test Team with Navy and vendor stakeholders.
• Perform radar equipment installation, checkout, testing and reporting of results.
• Ensure upkeep and functionality of ship radar systems.
