Job summary

VISTA Technology Services, Inc. seeks a Program Manager to support NAVSEA with a hybrid onsite role in Washington, DC three days a week.

The candidate will oversee program planning and execution for submarine-related efforts and will interact with multiple stakeholders to deliver critical milestones. The ideal candidate has extensive Navy program management experience, familiarity with the BYG-1 system, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage milestones, budgets, and risk.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Navy program management experience.
• 2+ years of Navy engineering support experience.
• Experience with BYG-1 submarine combat system.
• Ability to analyze and process engineering program documentation.
• Ability to assess and update spend plans.
• Ability to develop/document/implement new processes.
• Ability to analyze program risks and develop risk assessments.
• Proactive, able to work independently and in a team.
• Travel as needed to support the client.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee program definition, organization, and direction of short- and long-range plans.
• Formulate technical approaches and negotiate with activities for resources.
• Establish and control milestones, schedules, budgets, and costs.
