Job summary

General Dynamics Electric Boat is seeking a D411 Fleet Material Program Representative to manage material support for Ship Alterations. The role collaborates with Materials Management, Finance, Contracts, Engineering, WEO, and NAVSEA, with travel as needed.

The ideal candidate will have a degree or 5+ years in finance/logistics, strong project management, and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance. Advanced degrees and Navy/DoD contract experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of related experience in financial management, contract management, procurement, planning, or logistics.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
• Demonstrated experience in project management.
• Advanced degree is preferred.
• 2+ years of experience with Navy or DoD Contracts is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Balance project budgets and generate financial metrics.
• Strategic planning of tasking to ensure material meets install need dates.
• Utilize ARTEMIS to track cost and schedule progress.
• Act as a liaison with internal stakeholders and external customers.
• Occasional travel may be required, including Washington DC and vendor locations.
