Job summary

Ultra Maritime is seeking a Material Program Manager in Massachusetts to lead material strategy across sourcing, program management, engineering, operations, and planning. You will develop BOMs, drive supplier involvement, and ensure on-time program execution while managing cost and risk.

The role requires DoD aerospace/defense experience and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance. Expect collaboration with IPTs, and focus on Earned Value and material forecasting within a dynamic defense

Qualifications

• Experience in the DoD Aerospace & Defense industry.
• Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute material program plans and subcontract management plans.
• Balance strategic thinking with tactical application of strategies to programs.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Quality and Operations to create project schedules based on MRP.
• Develop and lead planning related proposals with task descriptions and bases of estimates.
• Collaborate on BOM development with engineering and manage changes during proposals.
