Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; engineering background preferred.
• 10+ years in naval program management, contracts, and budgets.
• Proven ability to lead matrixed engineering teams and communicate with senior leadership.
• Experience representing BIW in Navy/Industry programs and meetings.

Responsibilities

• Provide program leadership and oversight for the DDG(X) Program with focus on quality, schedule, cost, and people.
• Resolve programmatic, contractual, and cross-functional issues in coordination with engineering, planning, procurement, and operations.
• Interface with Navy, HII, Gibbs & Cox, and other industry partners at the program leadership level.
• Ensure development of executable DDG(X) technical solutions and program approaches, with monthly travel as required.
