Job summary

Serco Inc. invites qualified engineers to support US Navy submarine systems with system integration experience. The role emphasizes design integration, risk management, and cross-team collaboration to ensure timely delivery of COLUMBIA and DREADNOUGHT class milestones.

Candidates should hold a technical bachelor’s degree, have at least 5 years of engineering experience, and be eligible to obtain a U.S. Secret security clearance. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to obtain/maintain a U.S. DoD Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of engineering experience.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills.
• Time management and multitasking abilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Report to SIT Lead and Forward Project Officer.
• Support/lead design and integration of SCS and HMCCS per Ship Building Specifications.
• Execute full System Engineering process for COLUMBIA Class SCS Whole Boat and HMCCS.
• Facilitate SIT meetings and engage NAVSEA, SSP, UK MoD, and Naval Warfare Centers for design reviews.
• Manage integration, testing, and delivery milestones for COLUMBIA and DREADNOUGHT classes.
• Identify and mitigate project risks; collaborate with other SITs to resolve interfaces.
