Qualifikationen

• Three years of practical engineering duties including corrosion prevention and hull/ship coatings.
• Three years of applying Clean Air Act, NESHAP, EPA, OSHA, ASTM 718F regulations and VOC compliance.
• NACE corrosion certification or equivalent.
• High school diploma or equivalent with basic algebra/geometry/physics background.

Aufgaben

• Receive, evaluate, and interpret information to determine reliable operation of HM&E systems.
• Provide engineering and technical support for design, repair, installation, and testing of HM&E systems.
• Provide shipboard troubleshooting and onsite support to resolve issues.
• Assist with test procedure development, assessment, and monitoring for propulsion, electrical, mechanical, and information systems.
• Analyze CASREPs, 3M data, and maintenance trends to identify reliability issues and cost drivers.
• Support laboratory-scale testing and shipboard T&E efforts related to HM&E systems.
