Job summary

ORBIS Inc. is seeking an experienced Naval HM&E engineer to support Code 412’s steam systems across Navy vessels and facilities. The role emphasizes engineering design, testing, installation, maintenance and alteration of HM&E systems, with logistics support and safety program contributions.

Candidates must hold a BS in Engineering, be a U.S. citizen, and have a Secret security clearance; five years of specialized experience with design drawings and calculations for Amphibious Ship Steam

Qualifications

• Ten years of experience in design, testing, installation, maintenance and alteration of Naval HM&E systems.
• Five years specialized experience preparing engineering design drawings and supporting calculations and instructions for Navy steam plants.
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an accredited college or university; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering and logistics support for the steam systems of Navy vessels and facilities.
• Support safety and reliability programs and related ship propulsion readiness initiatives.
