SEACORP is seeking a Fire Control Technician - Test Engineer to support lab testing, integration, and evaluation of submarine combat systems in Newport, RI. The role requires an active Secret security clearance and will involve testing at NUWC Newport with possible travel to test events.

Applicants should have a BS in Engineering or 8 years of direct US Navy submarine combat systems experience, including Naval Advanced "C" School.

Formación

• BS in Engineering or 8 years direct US Navy submarine combat systems experience including Naval Advanced C School.
• 3 years of related experience with submarine combat systems; cybersecurity experience a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Provide lab test support evaluating system capabilities to meet or exceed requirements.
• Present test results and findings in meetings.
• Write clear test reports detailing testing results and issues.
• Collaborate with program engineers to review system design requirements for testing.
• Identify, investigate and analyze software/hardware failures to determine root causes.
• Develop troubleshooting procedures and temporary workarounds.
• Perform risk analysis for impact to operational capabilities.
