Job summary

Arcfield in Newport, RI is seeking a Test Engineer to support Navy submarine programs, including AN/BYG-1 TCS. You will test subsystems and verify deliveries in collaboration with engineers across the program to ensure mission-critical performance for the Navy.

Qualifications

• DoD production delivery testing experience.
• Active Secret clearance required or in process.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Experience with requirements management and system modeling tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct subsystem and system of systems testing.
• Work in an Agile environment with engineers across the program.
• Analyze how software meets requirements.
• Communicate issues across subsystems to drive solutions.
• Investigate test failures and identify root-cause.
• Write and verify bug reports and fixes.
• Mentor junior test engineers.
• Report testing metrics to stakeholders.
• Support tasks assigned by Test Lead.
