Job summary

Serco is seeking a Landing Craft C4N Engineer in the Arlington, VA area to join an experienced engineering team delivering and sustaining landing craft for the U.S. Navy.

The role requires obtaining a DoW Secret clearance and involves working with SSC, LCAC, and LCU systems, with opportunities to influence designs and process improvements. You will support program milestones, manage high-priority tasks, and interface with government and maritime professionals while contributing to safety and

Qualifications

• The ability to obtain/maintain/transfer a Secret security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline.
• Three years of relevant experience.
• Strong communication and program management skills.
• Ability to learn shipbuilding acquisition, design, production, test and trials, and configuration management.
• Ability to travel up to 10% for work purposes.

Responsibilities

• Provide program management support to the U.S Navy’s Amphibious Assault and Connectors Program’s engineering team.
• Track high priority tasks and drive issues to resolution.
• Assist customer with managing workload and establishing processes.
• Familiarity with SSC, LCAC, and LCU command and control, data processing, engineering control, navigation, and communications systems.
• Serve as primary LCU C4N interface to the customer.
• Coordinate with Cybersecurity teams on RMF and ATO efforts.
• Develop online databases, status updates, and metrics as requested.
• Provide technical and programmatic assistance for production and post-delivery change cost and schedule impact.
