Job summary

Serco Inc. in Arlington, VA is seeking an Engineer to support the U.S. Navy Amphibious Warfare program. This role requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret level clearance post-employment.

You will assist with program management tasks, document technical work, and collaborate with government and contractor personnel to ensure successful outcomes. A ABET-accredited engineering degree or equivalent with relevant experience is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or ABET-accredited equivalent.
• DoD Secret clearance (post-employment) required.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• 5 years of relevant work experience can substitute for degree.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).

Responsibilities

• Provide basic program management support including scheduling, tracking metrics, and cost estimating.
• Coordinate meetings and action items with customer and internal teams.
• Assist with workload tracking and flag priority issues for customer attention.
• Maintain and update planning tools and documentation.
• Perform basic engineering work: analysis, design, testing, and data collection.
