Job summary

CBRE’s Investment Accounting & Reporting Solutions group seeks a Fund Accounting Controller to oversee all aspects of fund operations, accounting, reporting and analysis for a portfolio of clients.

In this role you will manage NAV calculations, financial statements, audits, budgets and cash management, while coaching junior staff and ensuring compliance with GAAP, FASB, IFRS where applicable, and CBRE standards. Strong communication with clients is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with fund (NAV) accounting required, with real estate exposure preferred.
• Experience with Yardi and GAAP/FASB knowledge.
• Strong understanding of IFRS where applicable.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a client-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee NAV calculations and financial packages for clients.
• Update daily trading, GL activity, and fund pricing for NAV accuracy.
• Prepare and review financial statements and assist audits/tax prep.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and reports for clients/investors.
• Coordinate treasury, cash management, and fund-level reconciliations.
• Coach junior staff and provide portfolio-specific guidance.
