Job summary

CBRE’s Investment Accounting & Reporting Solutions group seeks an Assistant Fund Accounting Controller to join a collaborative team supporting client funds. The role covers NAV calculations, daily ledger activity, and production of fund financial statements and investor notices.

The successful candidate will manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment, work with Yardi, GAAP/FASB standards, and provide support for audits and client transitions from onboarding new scopes of work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with fund (NAV) accounting.
• Knowledge of GAAP and FASB.
• Strong Microsoft Office proficiency including Excel.
• Real estate industry exposure preferred.
• Experience with Yardi preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, analyze, and review periodic NAV calculations.
• Input daily trading, GL activity, and pricing for daily NAV accuracy.
• Produce fund financial statements and investor capital notices.
• Review monthly property level reports in detail.
• Post journal entries and cash movement transactions for funds.
