Job summary

CBRE's Investment Accounting & Reporting Solutions group is seeking an Assistant Fund Accounting Controller to join a collaborative team focused on supporting a portfolio of clients. This role is responsible for financial accounting, reporting, and analysis of fund operations.

Responsibilities include NAV calculations, daily activity input, financial statements, investor notices, reconciliations, and support for audits. A Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of fund accounting experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with fund (NAV) accounting and real estate industry preferred.
• Knowledge of GAAP, FASB, REIS, IFRS and related standards.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced client-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, analyze, and review NAV calculations and fund activity.
• Produce fund financial statements and investor notices.
• Support treasury, cash management, and journal entries for funds.
• Coordinate work within SPOC guidelines and coach junior staff.
• Assist audits and ensure SOX compliance where applicable.
