FactSet is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the Deep Sector Oil & Gas team, directing market analyses and monthly/quarterly reports on natural gas. You will mentor analysts, guide product evolution, and serve as a trusted adviser to clients with clear, data-driven insights.

The role requires advanced Excel, Python, and SQL skills, plus strong communication to present at client meetings and industry events. Colorado-based, on-site position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, Finance, or related field.
• 6+ years of natural gas market analysis experience.
• 3+ years leading research teams.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience using Python and SQL for data analysis and modeling (PowerBI experience a plus).

Responsabilités

• Directly oversee and contribute to the production of monthly and quarterly market reports, ensuring accuracy, analytical rigor, and timely delivery of all insights.
• Develop, refine, and maintain forecasting models, supply/demand balances, and price outlooks for key natural gas trading hubs.
• Mentor, inspire, and support the professional growth of market analysts and data specialists, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
• Serve as the primary spokesperson and subject matter expert, delivering market briefings and in-depth presentations to clients, stakeholders, and industry events.
• Enforce best practices in data analysis and modeling.
• Engage directly with clients to understand their challenges and answer questions.
• Lead the development and rollout of new analytical products, tools, or methodologies that enhance our research impact and differentiate our offering in the marketplace.
