Job summary

FactSet Research Systems Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the market intelligence team focusing on crude oil, refined products, and NGLs.

You will direct monthly reports, develop forecasts, and guide analysts and data scientists to deliver rigorous, data-driven insights for global and North American markets. You will mentor a high-performing team, shape product evolution, and act as a trusted advisor to clients while advancing data-driven market analytics across midstream and downstream

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, Finance, or related field.
• 6+ years of crude oil, refined product, or NGL market analysis experience, ideally within industry or at an established consulting firm specializing in energy.
• 3+ years of leadership experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience using Python and SQL for data analysis and modeling (PowerBI and/or GIS experience a plus).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience contributing to research reports or technical publications.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or at any time in the future.

Responsibilities

• Directly oversee and contribute to the production of monthly market reports, ensuring accuracy, analytical rigor, and timely delivery of all insights.
• Develop, refine, and maintain forecasting models, supply/demand balances, and price outlooks for crude oil, refined products, and NGLs.
• Mentor, inspire, and support the professional growth of market analysts and data scientists, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
• Serve as the primary spokesperson and subject matter expert for oil and NGL markets, delivering market briefings and in-depth presentations to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Enforce best practices in data analysis and modeling.
• Engage directly with clients to understand their challenges and answer questions.
• Lead the development and rollout of new data and analytics products that differentiate our offering in the marketplace.
