FactSet Research Systems Inc. seeks a Senior Oil and Gas Data Specialist to own two or more Deep Sector Oil & Gas data products, with a primary focus on U.S. interstate natural gas pipeline nominations, corridor flows, and daily gas prices.

You will design robust data pipelines and collaborate with product teams. The role requires data modeling, programmatic data acquisition and processing, and staying current with sector developments, regulatory changes, and market dynamics while providing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or related field.
• 3-5 years of demonstrated experience working with large databases, building data pipelines, and automating workflows.
• Advanced proficiency with Python and SQL (certifications preferred).
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Desired Skills: a results-oriented, client-centric approach.
• Ability to multitask and collaborate effectively with teams.
• Experience in quantitative/statistical modeling, machine learning, and/or agentic workflows.
• GIS knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee two or more Deep Sector Oil & Gas data products, focusing on US interstate gas pipelines, corridor flows, and daily prices.
• Maintain data pipelines with robust data modeling and programmatic data acquisition/processing.
