Job summary

TC Energy invites applications for a Student Intern position to support field operations related to the safe and reliable transportation of natural gas. The role offers hands-on experience with compression equipment, field maintenance, troubleshooting, and site inspections, under supervision of experienced technicians.

Applicants must be enrolled in a mechanical/chemical/pipeline/automation program and available full-time for the May–August 2027 term.

Qualifications

Enrolled in an accredited Mechanical, Chemical, Pipeline, Automation or related technical/trades program.
Must have completed at least one academic term before May 2027 start date.
Available to work full-time (40 hours/week) during the term.

Responsibilities

Support field operations while upholding Safety In Every Step and other core TC Energy values.
Assist with installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of natural gas compressors and related equipment.
Gain hands-on experience using field tools, equipment and procedures.
Learn and apply safety protocols for field work.
Participate in site visits, equipment inspections and project activities under supervision.
Develop technical/problem-solving skills for a field technician role.
