Job summary

University of Colorado Boulder is seeking a Program Coordinator for Native and Indigenous Students to mentor, advise, and coordinate educational programs. The role advocates for Native communities on campus and helps build a welcoming, inclusive environment for students to thrive.

The position reports to the Assistant Director for Intercultural Engagement and requires some weekend/evening hours. This is a hybrid role with minimum campus presence four days per week and onboarding support within

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2 years of post-bachelor experience with campus-wide programming and advising Native and Indigenous and/or related underrepresented populations.
• Proven experience in project management and/or student program planning.
• Experience developing and facilitating diversity and inclusion presentations and student success workshops.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement high-impact programming that serves to enhance belonging and mattering of Native and Indigenous students, including heritage celebrations.
• Provide meaningful connections for Native and Indigenous students to student organizations, CNAIS, and other programs and services to holistically support development and belonging.
• Create welcoming center spaces and implement outcome-based programs that invite communication across race, ethnicity, gender, and other identities.
• Collaborate within the Center to combine programming for greater outreach and align learning outcomes with division plans.
• Develop assessment measures to collect university data and trends for training needs and partnership development.
