Job summary

gpac is seeking a Traveling Superintendent to lead nationwide construction projects, acting as the boots-on-the-ground leader who thrives on travel and ownership.

You will oversee daily field operations, manage subcontractors and crews, maintain schedules, ensure safety and quality, read blueprints, coordinate materials, and report progress to PMs and clients. This role offers a base salary of $150,000+ with a performance-based bonus, comprehensive benefits, and covered travel expenses.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent.
• Commercial or industrial construction experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Experience managing subcontractors and multiple trades.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily field operations and project activities.
• Manage subcontractors, vendors, crews, and jobsite personnel.
• Maintain project schedules and keep work on track.
• Ensure quality, safety, and compliance standards are met.
• Read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Coordinate materials, manpower, and deliveries.
• Communicate project progress with PMs, clients, and field teams.
• Identify and resolve jobsite issues proactively.
• Maintain daily reports and project documentation.
