Job summary

gpac is seeking a Traveling Superintendent to lead projects nationwide, owning on-site operations and coordinating crews across multiple sites.

The role requires reading blueprints, managing subcontractors, maintaining schedules, ensuring safety and quality, and communicating progress to PMs. Travel and travel-related expenses are covered, and a $150,000+ base salary with a performance bonus and comprehensive benefits are offered.

We're looking for a Traveling Superintendent to join a growing construction team and lead projects across the country.

What You'll Do

• Lead daily field operations and project activities
• Manage subcontractors, vendors, crews, and jobsite personnel
• Maintain project schedules and keep work on track
• Ensure quality, safety, and compliance standards are met
• Read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications
• Coordinate materials, manpower, and deliveries
• Communicate project progress with PMs, clients, and field teams
• Identify and resolve jobsite issues proactively
• Maintain daily reports and project documentation

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent
• Commercial or industrial construction experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, safety, and quality control
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
• Experience managing subcontractors and multiple trades
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and make decisions in the field
• Construction software experience is a plus
